Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However automatic vacuum was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
This robot combo is easy to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled as needed. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to reach every last particle of dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. This device also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
